Syracuse, NY -- An East Syracuse parolee whose crime spree included murdering a man after luring him with fake prostitutes will spend the rest of his life in prison. John Kosmetatos, 28, pleaded guilty Thursday afternoon to first-degree murder in the Sept. 2, 2014 death of Tony Lewis. He was promised a sentence of life without parole, said Senior Assistant District Attorney Melinda McGunnigle.
