(Source: United States Attorney's Office for the Western District of North Carolina) CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Jamel Ski Yates, a/k/a 'Goo,' 43, of Charlotte, was sentenced yesterday by U.S. District Judge Robert J. Conrad, Jr. to 36 months in prison on federal wire fraud conspiracy charges for attempting to steal more than $1.3 million through unauthorized wire transfers, announced Jill Westmoreland Rose, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina.
